Default Getting two new dogs on friday

LOL..not newfies, but Koolie rescue dogs. There has been a large number of very sad little Koolies requiring care and attention. These two are not very well and will have to be kept in isolation for quite a while.

So we are putting them in our Barn ( in crates initially), where we have a lot of unused room, until they are clean and they will move on to live in our Kennel Run and room and hopefully upgrade to being indoor dogs so that they can be found happy homes.

They are very thin are being treated for mange, some other eye stuff too and just need a lot of TLC and some training.......

Yes from a Puppy Farm, how I loathe Puppy Farms

So the puppies Milly and Tilly luck, will keep you up to date

this might be one of them, not 100% sure as yet

How terribly sad that this happens
After getting Shelby I have become so much more aware of the crap that goes on.

Massive high five to you for opening your barn and heart to these little pooches. xx

Talk about from rags to riches !!

Puppy farm to Newfsies place !!

Good luck Newfsie. I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys go with this. Not sure if it's any good for them but i have some of Mojo's old but very clean collars and check chains that he has grown out of. If they could be used for these guys i'd happily send them to you.

Thank you Sean, but I have so much stuff....Collars for every size, dog beds, blankets and crates...i have done this a few times before ....but it is a lovely thought

I just need to try and get my dog food a little discounted from the butcher and also the pet supply, because they will not be going on RAW, they have to be fed what most people would feed and what is easy for future owners. I always feed Rescues Dry food and some meats and bones. I cannot make it too difficult for future owners.

Well done Newfsie! I take these are a couple of the 16 placed from a puppy farm? I am glad they all seem to be going to great fosters and good rescues but angry at the hole puppy farm situation.

Edited: I intended to change my typo from "hole" to "whole" but on second thought, puppy farming is a hole... a black hole.

Oh that is so kind of you Newfsie, those poor babies, and from what I read the mummy dog, breaks my bloody heart seeing the condition these dogs are in.

Looking forward to hearing updates of the lucky dogs going into your care and I hope they get better soon.
