I watch a lot of Japanese anime so I know a lot of Japanese names

Kiba is a very popular one, pronounced key-bah. Kiba means fang in Japanese and is a character in the show Naruto who specializes in training ninja dogs!
Kibas ninja hound is Akamaru but that might be a bit of a mouthful lol

Other male names from that show are:
    Ibiki (ee-bee-key),
    Zetsu (zet-sue),
    Hidan(he-darn),
    Haku (ha-koo),
Hmmm the rest are all ridiculously long like Konohamaru, Shikamaru etc

    Other anime names...

    Ichigo
    Light
    Alucard
    Howl
    Tobi
    Hayate
    Cloud
    Tidus
    Sora
    Shinji

Okay my brain is drawing a blank now!

No name suggestions but boy when I adopt a new fur child I'm coming here for name choices, wide and beautiful range!

LOL CL. My OH is a Naruto fan... we're often fighting over the Lappy cause i wanna come on here and he wants to watch Naruto!

I don't like the name kye - it's the same as Kai, which is food in Maori. Rexy's little daschund friend is called that and it just weirds me out. lol

Well you have a heap of Japanese names to choose from LOL!!
just it case something a bit less exotic appeals, what about:

    Snowflake

    Snowman

Marsh (cos he might look a bit like a fluffy marshmellow when he arrives!)

Cottonball (may have to reduce that down to Cotton after desexing )

    Doona (without a cover LOL)

If I had a white male, I'd name him Fionn. It's an Irish name meaning fair/ white and is the name of a legendary/ mythological Irish hero.

    being one for opposites...

    I like
    Blacky
    Sooty
    Ebony - though that's more commonly a girl's name
    Stormy

Just remember - what ever you pick - needs to be something that you can yell to call your dog without being embarrassed about it.
