Some people aren't fortunate enough to have such a place to go to such as you sweet dream. I also prefer walks instead of the dog park, but a walk isn't enough for my energetic little man He gets 2 walks a day, a quick 15min non-stop bike ride run pedalling as fast as i can & a trip to the off-lead park for a game of fetch. I just prefer to stay with the one park i go to where i know the dogs and their personalities, or drive by one that is unattended.

Hopefully when i start looking for a new home in Oct, i can get a place with a bit of land for fetch instead!

Its not a great real forest Just a pice of forest along fence of industrial estate. You would probably know it - Crestmead Ind. estate.

My dream spot apart from beach is the Indooroopilly school oval. It's far, but sometimes we drive there, my daughter went to that school, so she enjoys visiting it

Pretty nice fenced areas are in the Alexander Clark park in Loganlea, and in Medowbrook park you can let off-leash as well away from main area, in the fields.

Yes i go to the park in Meadowbrook - Riverdale park, if that is the same park your talking about the opposing fields from the fenced area is not an off-lead area. I do notice that people will take their dogs over that side and let them run free.. but they are breaking the rules.

I'm not sure what area in Crestmead your talking about - Berrinba reserve perhaps? I use to live adjacent that area (on 4th ave) and that is also a on-leash area, please correct me if i'm wrong

I do like to walk along the riverside walk at AC park - but that is also an on-lead area. the only place you can let the dogs off is in the fenced area.

I've been to nearly every park in Logan LOL trying to find a suitable place to socialize when i first got Molly who was a sociable girl when it was only her in the home. The only place i've yet to check out is the one in Mt Warren which has a off-leash park (unfenced).

Dog parks are great for dogs, but you always need to be aware that you just dont know how the other dogs will behave. The same thing happened to me once with my staffy. He is now banned (by me) from any dog park lol
