    mine both show ridges when they are annoyed.
    neither have ridgeback in them. Its piloerection.

    If the ridge show only when he is a bit annoyed it is most likely just "Hackles up"

    Ridgy crosses often do not have the Ridge, because the cross gets rid of the "bad" problem that ridges have...My brain isn't functioning in the early morning, but i think it is kinda like Spina Bifida, that causes the ridge, so actually a spinal problem......

    He does have the beautiful boofy head

    Just looking at him at the moment, and he is relaxed, he does have a line down his back, maybe it's just the way his fur runs. He is my little puppydog surprise lol.

    My old man's mate has a beautiful pure Ridgy and his ridge hair direction is more like a mowhawk. Pushed together and at the end of the ridge it goes into 2 perfect little swirls.
    As far as i'm aware Ridgies are made up of about 5 diffrent species themselves. The ultimate mutt really LOL. But also the ultimate hunter in my book.
