Thumbs up Muffy has left the building!!...for a week.

So, Muffy has gone to a temporary foster home for a week to see how she copes with the transition and having a less experienced handler. She has gone to a friend of Muffy's foster coordinator to ensure that she knows and is happy to deal with the risks involved with taking her and would have a friend close by for any support.

She met her new carer today at our house and did well during the meeting. I will give updates on how she goes for anyone who is interested. She is not yet on pet rescue as this is a test to see how she can cope in the "real world" before reassessing her and her situation.

Fingers crossed Muffy does well on her test

Haha, we actually call her Mufster too, as well as Muff'n'Stuff, Muffin and Muffanie.

She was doing very well at out house. She still wasn't over bikes or strange dogs or people coming to the door but she was definitely better.

Apparently she is very relaxed at the new house, which isnt surprising, as she's the only animal there.

She met her 'nemesis' today (a person she had bitten many times). She sniffed her then backed up and started growling/barking. We calmed her and after less than a minute they were 'friends', though the nemesis was still a little weary :P

I can't help but feel that her behaviour was all learnt from the other house and that her 'nemesis' brought back the behaviour momentarily...
