    OK ...
    a) He is desexed! I have been in this game for a while now and I do know what I am doing, thank you!
    b) $600 is not a lot to spend on a pedigreed dog. BF are about $1200 for a pup of him quality! So we were giving him cheap, because we needed to find him a good home. I sell my Tibetan Spaniels for $800 to show or pet homes. I find that people who are willing to spend that kind of money on a dog are more likely to take better care of them!

Ashaari, I don't think anyone was trying to have a go at you, I think it's more what you DIDN'T say in your first post that had people asking questions or commenting.

Now that you've explained that he is desexed and also explained WHY he is possibly going to be rehomed I think people will go "ahhh okay now I get it".

The price you are asking is very reasonable for a BF, and I hope that his current carer can house train him. Is there any way she could crate-train him? I've found that to be the most effective way to house-train older dogs.

Good luck, BF's are wonderful little dogs!

I apologise if I took their comments the wrong way, Im on a bit of a bad mood, I just worked out that I can not aford the Chocolate Border I was going to get because my boss put me back to part time.
But even still. It is my discision wether to leave him entire or not. I have sold plenty of entire dogs who did not go to breeding homes. Some people prefer it that way. They have no intention of breeding but, guys esp, like the fact that their dog has balls. I am not saying it is a good idea that everyone have entire dogs and god knows its easier if they are desexed but I screen everyone who comes to me for a pup and if I think they are going to do the wrong thing I do not give them a dog, its as symple as that.
Ta DA and GAG I did not know I took it the wrong way.

No probs Ashaari. BF are a lovely dog, well I think they're beautiful anyway, so I don't think it will be long before the 'right' home comes along.

I'm sorry to hear about your hours being cut back. What a bugger it is when that happens!

Ok so I thought we had a home for this one but it fell through. So here we go again.

We have a male Bichon Frise looking for his forever home. $600 ONO.
Arki is a 4 and a half year old, desexed, ex-showdog, so he will need housetraining.
He is an incredably loving little man, who is an ace on the lead, and just looking for a family to belong to and as an added bonus he is hypoallergenic.
Bichon Frise, in french, literally means 'curly lap dog'. They are a cheerful, gentle mannered, sensitive, playful and affectionate breed. Bred to be companion dogs, the Bichon Frise tends to get along well with both children and other animals.
Arki lives up to the breed ideal.
I have found that his coat, while high maintainance, is not as difficult to keep as a poodle coat, it is denser and does not knot as much.

He is at my place now.
