I have found them on a UK based web site tho & has anyone bought any products from this UK site & are they trustworthy, please excuse all my questions but i am rather wary about buying items online (other than ebay lol)..

Awww I was looking for a gold one for Asher but couldn't find one. Have you thought of asking someone to custom make you one? Not sure who you would ask, but there must be places around that work with brass (make keys etc) that could shape some into a dog tag.

The tube unscrews in half & you place a piece of clear contacted paper inside, on the paper you write your phone, address details on etc, the you screw tube back together.

Wow that's really cool. Thanks for the explanation. Have you thought about asking at your local Mister Minit?

Gawd those tube things look really familiar. I had no idea they were for dog ids or held anything.

Now if I could just remember where I saw them. I'm thinking either hardware or boat bits shop (chandlers). Or even scuba diving bits shop. Because tubes like that don't die under pressure. I guess you could try phoning these kinds of shops.

Don't know anything about this shop either, you can try testing them with an email.

I buy from overseas online I would say usually weekly or fortnightly (shopping addiction prehaps lol) I do rec ebay alot.
Couple of things I would suggest looking for a return policy & shipping insurance. Also ask the seller or store alot of questions before buying, see how good their customer service is.
Have you googled for dog id tubes instead of tags?

sorry forgot to say I have seen a few around selling in Oz stores but not alot. Ive seen them at the big supa pet store type places.

Hey AF my suggestion would be to go to a key place or possibly a saddlery?!

Im getting some tags for Bailey and Tyson from oversea's. They will be traditional looking army dog tags with the details stamped on them. They already have normal disc tags but due to them being so rough on collars etc you cant even read the writing on them anymore!
