Thread: Searching for Our STOLEN Amstaff

Arrow Searching for Our STOLEN Amstaff

can you imagine having your family pet stolen from you?
and how do you explain it to a 3year old who keep's asking you where she has gone?
or wondering if she is being well treated, fed, kept warm or even spoken to. watching our other dog mope around the yard, half of his personality missing.

these are the things we've been dealing with since 27/6/08 when some heartless person decided they would take our families pet for themselves, thinking only of their greedy selves rather than the bond this dog already has with a young family.

i know in my heart that mahli misses us. she wants to come home. she wants to let my 3year old chase her around the yard with his tonka truck, always out running him, but still slowing down enough to make him laugh.

sorry if ive rambled on. but its been that long now, i'd prefer to put our plea out there rather than a statistical description i have written 1000 times before.

for our full story, click the link in my signiture. and if you'd like to help us find our girl, please join the group and invite your friends to also. the more people that are familiar with her story, the better chance i have of letting all of our dreams come true.

I'm so sorry you are going through this hell!
Have you tried putting your story in papers (nationwide), contacted vet surgeons (try faxing or emailing a picture of your dog with all details eg. microchip number, special markings or colouring etc.), radio-stations, placing little printed posters wherever you're allowed (pet stores, wherever...)???? It might work.
And one more thing - don't do it just localy! You'd be amased that people who steal dogs take them wherever.

I hope you find her! Fingers crossed!

I agree, if you want to find your dog all these would help. The more people that know to look for your dog and can recognise it the better chance of finding her.

    Good luck finding Mahli

    unfortunately not.
I know a lot of people think or have said i've got buckley's of finding her now, that I should just give up. but while I know that she is alive, and out there, I won't give up at least hoping.

    I lost my cat once.
The dogs who were usually great with him scared him one day and he took off.
He was gone for over 2 YEARS! then one day on the way home from school we saw him on a neighbours fence and called out to him and he casually walked over and came 'home'.
He was really skinny and had either molted or had his fur clipped, as he was no longer 'fluffy' (it was his name!)

We thought he was long gone. There is always hope mahli will come home one day!
