Thread: Lost Dog Rockhampton South

Paul we may have found Rosie. The dog we have is very similar to your photos but a bit older so we are hoping your photos are from a while ago. Found near shopping fair intersection last night in the middle of the road.

    Cass

You might want to try calling the local pound to see if they can contact Paul for you, and you may want to take the dog to the local vet who can check for a microchip and that might lead to contact details for the owner.

Otherwise if you end up having to take the dog to the pound - to give the owner a chance to catch up with it - you can put yourself down for a home for the dog if the owner is not found (or not Paul). A lot of dogs run away on New Years Eve. Very sad.

Just a follow up for everyone. We saw Paul last night and the little dog we found was unfortunately not Rosie. However this morning we contacted the pound who passed on a phone number to a lovely old couple who were missing their " Goldy". They came around and picked her up and it was wonderful to see them all reunited. So everyone it is very rewarding helping someone find their missing pets and let us all hope someone can help Paul
    find his little Rosie.

Thank you newfsie. I will miss her for a long time . She was special to me because she was feral when I found her. We had some trials the main one being she was hit by a car after the neighbours pulled part of the fence down for renos while I was at work. 5 pelvic fractures and a poor prognosis. I nursed for her 6 weeks in a large box
and was very tough with the rules lol. She made a 99% recovery Most of all she loved people and other dogs.

Sorry Paul. I can only imagine how gutted you must feel. I am hoping by some miracle she will still turn up eventually.
