I know this sounds a little harsh but the chance of getting your dog back after this long are very slim. But good luck.

    Is that necessary?

I don't think it is necessary either. There are many stories of dogs returned after much time has passed.

Its the reality of it, and it sucks. I didnt say you wouldnt find your dog, I just said that the chances are getting slim. No need to all jump on me. Before you have a go READ what is written first.

Still, i'm sure that the OP knows this and would still like to hold on to one last glimmer of hope that they'll be reunited with her fur kid. He/She doesn't need it rubbed in anymore, i'm sure they already feel horrible about the situation.

I feel terrible for anyone in this sort of situation, a similar thing happened to a family in Adelaide. Their cavalier was removed from their house while they were at work, and only the dog was stolen. They've set up a facebook group, approached news sites and current affairs shows, and of course offered a large reward but still no news. This happened in November and they still haven't given up hope.

And here's some proof that little miracles do happen: Family reunited with their dog after being missing for a year.

I really hope that Rosie gets reunited with you soon and is safe and well.

Agree. Nothing comes of a poster being negative in a thread like this.
    It is heartbreaking.
I hope so much that your dog will be found.
    We all need hope.

I understand your point and it's the most difficult part of this situation to deal with after so much time's past. Thanks for being honest but i'm living it and
understand the possibility Rosie won't return.

If she had of died of old age or had to be put down after an accident I'd prefer that over not knowing what's happened to her.

Certainly hope this situation doesn't happen to you or anyone else in here. Now chill out you lot and stop arguing. I'll continue to look until i'm ready to let go, however long that might be I don't know.
