Have you gotton in contact with your council, local shelter and vet?
Male or female? Microchipped? When did it go missing?

I've contacted the council and they don't have anything. It's a family dog and found out it wasn't microchipped. It's male, 3 years old, and has been lost for two weeks.

I found an ad in Thornlie's community paper which a kind soul has advertised that they found a dog in the area. Contacted them and they said he has been taken to a vet. Rang the vet and he has since been taken to the animal pound. Found out from the pound that he has been rehomed. They said I wouldn't be able to have him back. Does anyone know if one can get their pet back once that happens?
