How do you know the dog was not lost in Timbuktu and transported by some egg head all the way to Seven Hills in Sydney because they thought they could 'save' the dog that they found wandering. It is hardly likely that the person who lost the dog in Timbuktu would be posting flyers in Seven Hills.

I guess that concept it too hard for you to grasp.

It is people such as yourself who have helped create legislation such as BSL and who continue to endanger the future of animal welfare through their sheer arrogance and disregard for laws and responsibilites.

Now, I asked the question because if you rehome the dog not going through the right channels and for some reason the owners turn up or find your adds (maybe overseas, dog left with friends, many reasons) but you have rehomed the dog not going through the right channels you could be sued for rehoming the dog and the vet work you have had done on the dog.
I do understand that you are trying to do the right thing for this dog but some times the law just sucks, but it's there for a reason.

I am not a law maker and unlike you, I don't choose to abide by laws or disregard them because they don't make sense to me. Why don't you speak to the Dept of Local Government who are the ones who created the Companion Animals Act. I am sure they will help you with your query.

Better still, why don't you move that law breaking logic of yours to research and look up the Companion Animals Act. Once you've read and understood the entire Act, just maybe the laws and regulations will make some sense to you.

You've openly admitted to breaking the law on here. You argue against any advice given and you have placed a halo above your head that only you can see. Maybe you can redeem yourself by actually learning what the right thing is in this situation and get off your self promotion of 'saviour of all dogs'.

No, she believes that if the owner was really a "caring" owner, they THEY would have advertised.
