No, because of they don't know it is there, then they don't know they need to post a certain number of posts. On DOL, they don't even seem to realise it is there so I assume it is hidden until they reach the required number.

That's what I was wondering, if it would be public knowledge or not.

I am on DOL but not up to 50 posts. No idea it was there.
The same would apply here I assume.

Mmmmm, now I'm intrigued. I'm over 50 post on DOL but haven't noticed anything 'new'

Definitely a good idea though, well done Beau.

Beau, I think this could turn out to be a very good idea and a step forward in the right direction, particularly to attract newcomers and not lose them at an early stage.

HOWEVER, I think we all need to take on board the fact that skirmishes and impolite nastiness have happened not only on off-topic subjects, but also on the dog-related threads.
IMO since being here on this forum, the nastiness in dog-related threads has been just as bad, possibly because ppl are so passionate about their different opinions concerning dogs.
Just a thought.
