Default Thankyou Button

Do you think it would be possible o get a thankyou button? I'm a member of a forum where you can click a 'thankyou for this usefull post' on the post in a topic.

Ive been giving reps using this function we have here in posts but it says i cant give anymore , it also dosnt show who is giving out reps to you.

Beau, it does state who gave you what reputation points. It does in my measly one anyway. Lol.

I find the reputation function on here 'wanting.'
I am only intersted in adding to a persons rep points when i feel they really have given an awesome post, but it also has told me I can't, I have to share it around. I don't think that is fair, and possibly not honest either.

For instance, TKay and Anne have posted some brilliant points lately (well, more brilliant than usual IMO ) yet I cannot add nor comment on those posts via rep. Hmmmpf.
I agree, another way of doing it would be appreciated I think.

I see you can have a reputation from a post.
i have one positive and then one negative

Its one extreme to the other

Positive : Excellent post. If only more would take it on board.

Negative: Insulting other members without knowing a thing

Yeh would be nice if you could see who feels this way, maybe they could then discuss what they do/dont like without being anonymous.
Personally whilst thanking someone has its merits i dont really see the benefit of leaving the above negative message if i am given no chance of defending myself IMO.

Well I know that was my positive Peter. Those words ring a bell. Lol.
That negative is insulting in itself, which is just hilarious if you really think about it.
