    Default Hannah has Uveitis

So, with only two days of fostering to go before she heads to her Forver Home, I took Hannah to the vet with a sore eye. I was told she has uveitis, she was given a shot of Rimadyl to help and then some chewables to continue at home. If needed, we have also been given ointment to use.

Poor Hannah Has anyone else's Dog had uveitis before? I've had iritis, which is almost the same thing and it was not very nice, so I can only imagine it must be a bit sore for her.

Our Appaloosa, Rebel had this from quite young....he lived on a dessertspoon of aspirin, as an anti inflammatory, for the rest of his life and eventually went blind at the age of 22

Not sure how it goes in dogs, i would have to do the Google thing like everyone else

They said the shot should fix it with the chewable tablets but if it's still red in the morning to use the ointment over 5 days and she should be good as new.

Fingers crossed she doesn't need the ointment.
