I've totally given up with Gypsy. I used a dog whistle and she was scared shitless of it. She did learn to associate the whistle with treats (as is the idea.... yay go Gypsy!) BUT she is now scared of treats so wont take them out of your hand... just cowers and skulks away.

Hi, my name is Clare and my dog is afraid of food. <--- closest thing I could find to a facepalm

Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

I shouldn't laugh, but from an outsider's perspective that is funny. Poor dog though. And it must require lots of creative thinking to deal with such an oversensitive dog.

She seems a little over sensitive....have you had her thyroid checked by any chance? Especially if she has not always been this way, just a thought..........
