She could take a page from my Mum's dog Bear 's book lol He senses a storm coming hauls his fat tooshy (I mean REALLY FAT lol) over a 5 foot fence and visits the local pub. Or if they have closed the door he heads to the local bottle shop and curls up next to the red wines. I am not kidding. We have tried everything drugs, thundershirt ect it is the only thing that calms him down he has to be at a place where alcohol is sold or he destroys walls even on Valium.
Both place now have a "Bear" blanket for storms now because they know we can't seem to get him to do anything else

Maybe pop a bum bag on with some cash so he can bring home the drinks afterward?

One of my 6 dogs pants and rushes around and barks. I put her in a soft crate, cover her over and that usually helps. My old dog takes herself off to a crate. You can buy CDs with storm noises to work through desensitising them. Dont know if it works.
