    Default A Few Tricks....

I made a video of a few of Luna's tricks, but i'm slowly running out of ideas of things to teach her... We have started obedience though so I'm sure there will be more but I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can teach her next

I would like to have a few so that over DogTober we can start focussing on them

here is the video: Luna, a dog's life...: Tricksy Thursday: A few of Luna's tricks...

    Thanks
    Kevin

Can't watch it at work, but will definitely watch at home!

I signed up for membership on this site but haven't had the time to really look at it yet: Dog Tricks Training Community
I received an email from them just yesterday about a training video they are making and they will pay you $30-$150 for trick teaching videos if they can use them!

that website is really awesome beloz! after not leaving my house for three days tending to our new arrival, Banksie, i keep myself well and truly entertained skimming through all the useful info on this forum while she is sleeping! i've book marked it for when she is a bit older. we're still working on the basics at the moment. (house training... etc)

Maybe I should send some of my videos, my dogs do a lot of tricks, because we train a lot.......Saying prayers, picking up dishes/toys, taking off socks, picking up anything I drop, Brining in the mail ,carrying a bucket with Easter eggs to share at Obedience or Christmas cards and dog cookies, Walking ladders, Lots of retrieves for water rescue training (getting the boat, paddle, life-jacket), Playing dead, bang your dead, opening sliding doors (should not have taught that one). Katy also carries her grooming box into the show, or her towel, bringing in firewood, pulling a cart, pulling a wheelchair and so many more....We just do it all the time.
I am not selling mine though, because I want to use them on a website I would like to put together on training in the near future

At present "under cover", because I am hoping to put a website together LOL........

Katy is a very funny dog and seems to know when the camera is rolling....I could make a whole Blooper section....She is so comical

Have you though about hiding food under a tin can and let her find it, so this would mean you have to have 3 tin cans to do it.
Maybe start with something clear so she can see it and slowly make it so she can see it.
I am currently doing this with Murphy but I have slackened off a little lately.
But it can be a good trick and with a Beagle you would be on a winner there with this one.
