I've noticed that dogs love to poop when they're out on a walk. Do you walk these 2 in the afternoons / evenings? it may help.

I get puppy to walk around the yard with me and pretty soon he's doing his business.

Is a doggy door an option? Saves any risk and my dog loves the fact he can let himself in and out as he pleases - although if i'm watching tv he'll still come to the tv room door and sit there until i tell him to go to his door(or be a softy and open it to let him in lol)

I thought you meant it all started at three weeks. Anyway, the times are not exact. i would just start them again like I would a puppy. It is what I do with my Rescues. And there are many different ways to potty train. i like the umbilical system. it is also good for just getting them used to you.
I give lots and lots of rewards......

Thank you everyone for your advice.
Yep I walk them in the morning and in the evening.
Anyway my Chi is having some other health issues so I am taking him to the vet to get him checked over.
    Thanks again everyone!!!
