I looked into doing it, got the info mailed to me, but it was simply too expensive for me to do. Wonder if my boss would pay for it....oh hang on that's ME! Ah well, maybe if I win lotto.

I liked boyd he helped me get over a death of a puppy, and helped me work out Kaos's problems (well, he let me work them out, but directed me the right way till i got it )

I loved Owen too.

I did my complex skills via tape, had to record it all and send it in.

Somehow I don't think I could get my boss to pay for me... seeing as how he's the MD of an Engineering Constultancy. Mind you, he does love dogs... LOL

Yes Boyd's good, I know him via my boss so his expectations were high. Same with Owen, I used to work with his girlfriend.

One of the other students wasn't holding his dogs lead and during one of my 4 demo's it just walked up and sniffed my girl and hung about.

When the other student went to get his dog Boyd told him to leave him be, it would test whether I'd proofed the dog - yay, as if all these people staring at me wasn't bad enough.

Luckily Kelsey is not phased by other dogs and just continued pushing her little pram around the room.

What about the non-training stuff? The health care and behaviour stuff, etc. What's that like? Informative? or not?

Most of it is about how to become a trainer. BUT there are a few companion animal things.
If all you want to do is become a better owner perhaps you would be better doing tafe, afterall NDTF is a lot of money to pay if you dont need the training side of things

pardon my complete ignorance

What is NDTF?

I reckon I wouldn't have to do much to get Frosty to do the dead dog with eyes closed bit. At the moment I'm working on her sit-stay; holding the sit position and not going to sleep in class - though that is an improvement on nicking off to greet all her friends.
