Thread: Dog Treat Ball?

  1. #1

    Default Dog Treat Ball?

My Boarder Collie X has been getting a bit bored lately, so we've taken extra time out to spend more time with her and we've even bought her a new treat ball. We've shown her, but for some reason she doesn't seem to be totally interested, even though we've used her favorite treats. Is there any way we can try and get her to participate more with her new toy?

Sorry I cant really help but I'm interested to see what other people say.

I got one for my 2 a while back.
    Griffen took no interest what-so-every.
After I rolled it around for a while Madeline got the idea but lost interest pretty quickly.

She's usually a pretty shy dog, so we are trying to find new ways to enthuse and energize her. Thanks anyway =)

Tried that - She's not a big vegemite fan I'm afraid.

Is it too hard for her to get the treats out?

Is she bored while she's home alone? Maybe she's stressed and that's why she's not eating.

No, it's actually pretty easy. I roll it around and one comes out, she eats it and kind of just stares at the ball again.. Hm.

She looks sad some of the time, and she doesn't do much anymore.. I'm trying to think of things that can help her.

Have you had her vet checked for possible illness?
