    Default Targeting

Does anyone else do it? I have started with Rufus with agility in mind and he loves it. Then again Rufus loves anything where he is the centre of attention lol

I do it with Madeline. She picked it up very quickly and loves it. She can do it with both a hand and a stick.
I'm still working on Griffen, he just doesn't quite get the idea. But then he doesn't really 'get' anything lol

Had to do it as part of NDTF course and since then have become hooked.

Try the light switch one, you'll have friends amazed.

Anyone with a little dog and a sore back, try heeling with after teaching targeting. Did this with a little Cav in puppy class with really tall owner.

In my puppy class I do target stick work quite early in the lessons because it gets peoples timing right for bridge, makes them understand that it's not about whether the dog is sitting etc which some people get stuck on but the association between yes and reward.

That's how we progressed to the light switch.

I like wooden spoons in class because they are small, easily obtained etc etc.
