I know that they don't use treats or force they use "dog psychology" their words not mine.

That is for their pet training. Don't know how they train their guard dogs.

    Why??

    Not my type of people.

I worked for Steve Austin for a while, and they seemed like total opposites.

I met them not long ago.

They said they only had to look at a dog a certain way and it would drop.

Yet they weren't prepared to show me how they did that and they were critical of people who trained dogs using the reward based system.

As I said, not my type of people but they may appeal to others and to have been in business this long they obviously have success & experience using their methods. I just found them abrupt.

I believe a dog in confident trained hands will respond better than in the hands of a less experienced person. But I've also seen dogs that wouldn't drop just from an experienced person looking at them. I'm sure there was probably more to it than what they were prepared to explain to me.

    Why do you ask??

Get yourself Balabanov's DVD series, anyone who says the dog's can't be trained by through rewards is lying.

I've clicker trained IPO dogs and many clubs in NA are now using more motivational and inductive methods rather than compulsion.

Don't waste your time with them. In my personal opinion they offer pathetic services and have no understanding of dog training. Their website gives an impression of a lovely serence and professional set-up which is allegedly far from the real truth. They are also linked to a group who have ripped off so many desperate people by pretending they have the ethics of a real rescue organisation. They are NOT a rescue. I think they are family linked to the GDTC.
