If bernie and pohm left the property, i'll eat my hat. They've never done it so far, even without a fence. I think im safe there. Even with rabbits bouncing around in the too far away from us zone, so they dont leave.

Task: exercise the dogs when you get home from work. Behaviour: sitting on lawn facebooking

Drop! for a rub. this is how brian invites play. He does appear to be double jointed in many ways

With regard to building muscle in the back end to support a more graceful drop, what do you think?

And be honest, would you actually want to train with food? This is not a joke question. I actually dont want a bar of this

Hmm your flirting and drop pic links are the same?

I think the back end could be stronger. Running on the flat isn't the same as doing squats or slow walking down stairs. Ie back end awareness (knowing where it is - can he back up the stairs) and front end strength - depending which end he drops first. Ie a push up (the lowering down part of it) works my front end more than my legs...

Frosty has been known to do the flying drop - tuck all legs up at once and crash land on the ground. Cos she just wants the treat faster... But otherwise she will drop from the front or the back or both ends at once... depending how bad she wants the treat or how much she's into the game (chase me or the toy on release).

He does 'back' on command, as i walk into/toward him to encourage movement.
    Generally, its toward.
Back end awareness training with Brian, id rather have my teeth pulled without drugs thanks. (I know my limits). I just want a recall that's solid as a rock. under destraction. so some new games to get him back will intrigue him some. Always looking for ways to intrigue brian

But happy to build up that back end a tad. He's lanky and all out of proportion right now, we've just done a growth spurt, and he's back to banging into walls occasionally, as his turning circle is very large.
