    Default Tracking training

    G'day All,

I am looking at doing some tracking training with the local dog club

it will be right up gypsy's ally!

Has anyone had any experience in this ? any tips & Pointers ? how did you find it?

    cheers,

Sorry I have no info for you, but i am sure Gypsy would just love it.
I have seen photos of ADF Bomb Detection trainers with Heelers -
(not suggesting that looking for bombs is a fun Sunday Arvo activity for you and your dog) :/

I teach tracking with food and toys, most dogs can easily do it as long as you get the foundations right with the dog. Hang back and let the dog work it out for themselves is the best I have found, they get it really quickly and once you hear that heavy sniffing heavy praise.
