    Hi,
I'm hoping someone in Toowoomba can go to the pound soon. Maybe Kristy you know someone?

Having two threads on the same topic - confuses people and divides resources. If you want to save this dog, stick to one thread.

Pounds don't just PTS after 3 days anymore. They then temperament test the dogs and if they are suitable for rehoming they are - desexed (if not already), vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, microchipped and then put up for adoption or sent to the local RSPCA for rehoming. So in all honesty this dog will either pass its temperament test and be rehomed (which like someone has pointed out won't be hard as it is an oodle) or it will be PTS if it has behavioural issues (as far as I am concerned this is in the best interested of everyone if the dog has behavioural issues).
Not much anyone else can do a) because you can't claim a dog from the pound if it doesn't belong to you and b) most pounds in QLD won't allow rescues to take dogs.

K&P i think the Logan Council holds them for 30 days and if they aren't collected they are put up for the rehoming programme.

When i got Molly i was told that they do allow rescues to come in and get animals. But in saying that she was in the pound for 3 months and she was still sitting in the pound.

Hopefully this groodle gets a happy ending

A coincidence.. a vet from Brisbane told me about the woman who originally took it.. then I googled rescue groodle and found this forum.. the wonders of the web.

I'm afraid no-one from Toowoomba seems to be responding.. is anybody there?

Is there any friend/family that could hold it temporarily? At least to give her 2 weekends of ads and interviews?

Sorry, no family around here that can take it and all my friends also have 2 dogs. So hopefully it will pass a temperament test and go to the RSPCA shelter
