She's a very good looking girl. I'm suprised she hasn't been quickly rehomed

Has this pic been posted on the Pet Rescue site?

I wish I could take her.

had a feeling bling girl would go home, good work!

I know a few people who simply have not been able to afford to get their dog out, Between all the fees they charge. And i dont like to say it, but some have waited till the day past when they dog could be put up for adoption after not being claimed and had a friend or family member buy them back. Im not saying its right or anything, but can understand in a way when a family simply doesnt have $400-500 or even $600 to bail the dog out of the pound. I have never been in the situation personally so i cant comment or judge

    Hi Leo!

    Great news for sure

Yes there are certainly good dog owners who find impound fees impossible to cover. Esspecially atm...

I would not be able to cope with the thought of knowing my dog is in a pound or shelter, even for one moment, but i can understand survival skills kicking in if you are really at a loose end.

I have met many fantastic dog owners who are on pensions etc and most often they spend any spare money on their dogs long before themselves The dogs sleep in bed with them, are well fed and cared for...all their needs are met in every way.

I'd live on bread and water for a while to get my dog out of the pound. Whatever it took...

I'm the same. If it came down to me or them eating, they'd eat first.

Yes me too Maggie and GoodiesGirl

There are however exeptions to the rule at times

Not suprisingly there are people who live on the streets with nothing to their name at all. Though their best friend (dog) is much better cared for then they care for themselves.

    Very much an individual thing...

It happens and it is a reality for some.
