And then there is also this darling gentleman. We *will* play musical doors if absolutely needed as I really dont believe this old man deserves to spend the last of his long life in a cold yard surrounded by strangers. He just needs somewhere to spend the twilight of his life laying in the sun with a belly rub or two.Again full support offered.

    Blacktown
Available IF my owner doesn't come to claim me beforehand - however I am stuck in a pound - and they are full so will not have much time if my legal holding period is up and my owners don't want me or have dumped me! :-(
$150 desexed, vaccinated, microchipped if adopted through Pound Rounds
    — at Blacktown Pound.

Sad........Is it due to people having gone on holidays and leaving people to feed them? Can just imagine coming back after along holiday and your dog was PTS......Had one here, saw it on the pound page and I knew the dog, so i rang in and told them I knew the owners were on Holidays and a brother was feeding the dog. Dog is now in our kennel, waiting for owners. I am letting the s**t brother stew on loosing the dog. he hasn't even rung the pound. I told the owners to kennel the dog, but the plans were made too late and the kennel was full.
It is one of the reason why I always check the pound pages, I know so many local dogs. Have rung the owners, the wife is livid with the brother.......Might have to call the RSPCA for the brother ( when she gets home)

I worry that would happen to us if we went away. Our dogs are chipped though with our cell number, and I figure I can always change my cell message so that if someone rings (and we dont have reception etc) they will get a message explaining we are away and who is meant to be looking after the dog, and when we will be back etc....LOL so paranoid to have even come up with a plan...especially considering we dont EVER go away
