He is after a diseased animal to breed with is all I can work out. Apparently it's unethical to desex them - and to vaccinate to I guess. Same sort that don't vaccinate their kids either I will bet.

Wanting to breed for money and trying to wave a moral/ ethical flag so that people think they are thoughtful and caring instead of just greedy.

Much the same as waving a religious flag - one person's morals, ethics or religion don't make something right.

I would think no-one would fall for it, but you never know...

There actually are people who don't wish to breed but believe it is morally wrong to desex an animal.

About a million years ago when I was young I went to school with a girl whose father was a minister/pastor or whatever of a church that had fairly strict rules on nutrition and disaproved of certain medical procedures. They had a much loved pet dog who was never desexed due to their religious beliefs. She never had a litter as she was kept confined during her heat periods. I lost touch with the girl when the dog was about 10 but she was still happy and healthy at this time.

Personally I am a firm believer in desexing. Even when I was still showing and breeding my girls were spayed at around age 5. However it is quite possible for a responsible owner to keep a bitch entire her whole life and never produce an unwanted litter.

This guy just might be genuine. Odd but genuine.

Soon as I said to this guy that he was probably just a troll intent on trying to make trouble - he didn't reply
