    Default Help Needed in Griffith

Hi Guys, IS anyone based in Griffith??? We have a young girl in the pound there that we are trying to spring for Monday 28th. Problem is that the airline needs to send a crate to Griffith to bring her back to us and this won't arrive there for a week!!! So I am hoping someone out there can give us an option.....either loan us an airline approved crate (we will post straight back to you) or foster her at your house until Thursday 1st July when we can get her on flight with their crate......or if anyone has any other ideas as to how to get her to Melbourne, we are all ears!!!

    Thanks.....fingers and paws crossed!!

Oh hell. I am just under an hour away from Griffith but have hubby in hospital and I have a severe cold. Am going away on the second of July as well. I have no travel crates. There is no way my 3 would allow another here nor do I have facilities for that. Oh hell, I feel so badly about this.

I wonder if the new pet resort in town could get her and hold till arrangements are made?

Hey Di, please don't take it personally, everything happens for a reason!!!! I have posted the request on DOL as well, something will come up for sure. I will contact the pet resort, however it is unlikey they will be in a position to assist because she has no vaccination record and frankly with all the parvo outbreaks around, I wouldn't risk her in my boarding kennels either.

You rest assured that we will work something out for her and HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY!!!!!! xxx

Oooooh see RADAR is a great thought. Just called Cheryl but she is driving. Will call her back this evening, certain she will help if she can. They may even have a crate to loan us.

I was reluctant to post as im sure you dont want to hear from people that cant help..

But i really want to help.. After being on this forum for such a short time, i want to get in on this rescuing thing..if only i was closer (3 hours away)
Id be there in a heart beat..

like i said, i was'nt going post anything because i felt rude..

But just thought id get my self out there, and let you know i really appriciate what your doing for these dogs... and youve made me want to make a difference..

    Full respect to you.

If you contact them through the link above I am sure they will snap you up, or there might be rescues closer to you that you can join. They are based in Narrandera but have far flung members.
