LOL then that one, yes you are 3 hours from. There is a Griffith in Canberra too. The other here is near Leeton, Narrandera. Lots confuse the two so don't feel an idiot lol.

OK, have transport and vet organised at this end. Hopefully Radar will loan us a crate and we can organise her flight in the morning. See it always comes together......it just HAS to!

Would she be ok in the holds of those tiny 27 seater saabs?

    Are they pressurised?

She would fly with REX regional airlines.

You are right Di, Rex is the only airline that fly direct Griffith - Melbourne and they do take pooches, so must be OK. The flight was $410, but I have had an offer of transport this end from the airport to the vet so reduces to $340. If we can borrow a crate will reduce further, so fingers crossed. It costs about $200 Syd-Mel including crate hire but we are charged extra because of the regional departure.

We have settlement on our house in Melbourne next week, so we are busy with the final clean up and are very grateful to have the pressure taken off us as far as transport from the airport to the vet
