    Hi Choppa Chop,

Do you know when these bubs are due/did they get through?

Staffy Rescue are a great org with their finger on the pulse, perhaps they have taken them?

    Hi Billy,
Am about to follow these bubs up now.

Mina does a great job but they usually do stick to the Staffords and leaves the Breed Specifics to those of us who have the correct homes on lists etc...I also think they are full and I would hate it she if she was to overstretch herself.

Actually poor Mina recently copped a grilling that was totally undeserved on another forum , the politics amongst Rescue ( well in the dog world in general-the horse world was bad but nothing like this) never ceases to amaze me .

    Absolutely...

Mina and Anthony do an amazing job consistantly saving lives day in day out.

I am familiar with the forum and thread, a boxer x bless his soul.

I prefer DIL really! Truly they have the best bunch of egotistical, uptight numpties ever

Thats what you get on a breeders forum! Ethical and responsible rescue workers will never get a look in regardless of the work they do, blood sweat and tears, heartache etc.

Mina arrived as i was bathing Francis upon entry to the pound and was beside herself with concern.

Many rescue groups avoid animals in dire straights as it is very risky to take them on and expensive. There is great debate consistantly swirling re these ethics, but you have no real idea until you see their face and lay your hands upon them.

I celebrate those who step beyond to celebrate a life regardless of circumstance.

Go Staffy Rescue, you are amazing!

You are so very right ! And yes , the poor Boxer lad
And yes , I have other names for that place but am afraid I cannot print them here

Such an inflated sense of self importance amongst so many people all gathered in one place often makes for a frenzy or rudeness and many people are scared away having learnt nothing

Agreed The opportunity to educate dog owners who are itching to learn more and gain a greater awareness are dismissed to feed egos, adgendas and dynamics.

Honestly it is nothing shorter than "days of our lives" *grin* I dont like that show and have never watched it!

DIL reminds me of the little old ladies who play bingo and put their little trolls and goodluck things around them while they play LOL. Truly, it is over the top and very amusing to say the least Better than a TV soap!

They are loosing members, the majority of rescue workers only go into urgent rescue because they have too, to do the in's and out's of rescue. They don't comment on anything because if they do they are bashed and intimidated by waves of breeders!

I wonder if we will have some waves here now?

I doubt they would 'lower' themselves to be seen on a mixed board

In any case , waves are not needed in such a pleasant atmosphere and will be calmed rather quickly

Yikes!!!...I'm not game to go into a breeders forum, I'd be too scared to post over being stomped into the ground LOL
And being a horse lover...I haven't been around horses since my boy died 5 yrs ago (and he wasn't a pure bred either), so I'd just be worthless in those forums too....sad really when the 'pro's' push those away/put those down who are keen to learn more and just love the animals without having to have perfect show/breeding pony/dog ect.

    Goooo the mixed breeds forum
