    Default Email from Grandpa!!

Just received this email from Grandpa's new family.......I have tears of absolute delight streaming down my face......

Grandpa couldnt be any more than the perfect dog.He is just gorgeous. While I am cleaning the rooms of a morning he just sits outside the room in the sun and follows me from room to room. The boys love him but they forget he is an older dog and has not quite got the stamina they have. They take him to basketball & footy every week and he is better behaved than most parents. He is not quiet sure of the beach across the road yet but he is getting further and further into the water chasing the seagulls, swans and pelicans. The only problem he seems to have is I get up pretty early of a morning and he wanderers into the kitchen with 1 eye open looking at me as if to say what the bloody hell are you doing up at this time. I just tell him its too early to get up and he wanderers back into the lounge and hops back into his bed.We have all become so attached its as if he has always been a part of our family. I couldnt imagine why anybody wouldnt jump at the chance to have him in their family.Heidi (our cat) and him have had a couple of spats but mostly she hisses and spits at him and he walks away. When she runs I think he thinks she wants to play.Anyway just wanted to let you and Simon know he is going great guns.I havnt had a chance to take any photos yet but when I do I will send them through

We were going to keep Grandpa here, but when Robyn sent her application in and we realised they owned a motel and were therefore "stuck" at home 24/7, we knew it was a perfect fit. But to receive such a wonderful email just makes my heart melt.

This IS the reason we left our family home behind, spend a small fortune every year on rescues and have no other life other than the dogs.......Grandpa deserves this love and this family, and as she who saved his life, it's my dream come true. Long live Grandpa!!!!

Thanks for that Shar. Nice to hear about it when a match between family and dog is made in Heaven.

That is so sweet, and obviously Grandpa is already very deeply loved.
