Talking My Latest Foster Greyhounds - Andy and Sally!

Today and went and picked up the latest additions to the gang, Andy and Sally.

Just gorgeous! They are both about 5 1/2 years old, Sally being one month older than Andy. They didn't come to us as a pair, but went to a foster home together about 5 weeks ago and have formed a close bond. The foster carers have had to go overseas at short notice due to an illness in the family, so I offered to take them rather than subject them to the kennels.

I only have one photo, they are both a bit stressed atm due to the change of environment (she says as Sally lays on the sofa next to her lol). Not a great photo, will get better ones over the weekend.

After about 2 hours they are getting on well with the rest of the gang, and hopefully they can have their muzzles off tomorrow or the day after. Oh, the ribbon on Sally's collar is to tell them apart! Tho Andy has a tail with a white tip - think I might change the collars!

Sally is in the foreground, with Andy behind her on the sofa.

A&S had a good night, I decided to have them in my bedroom (yeah I know I'm a softie), although they wouldn't settle until I put their beds right next to each other, then they plopped down together and went to sleep! They had a nibble of brekky this morning, and had a good run.

Have to go out this morning for a few hours so hopefully they will behave themselves.

Will get some photos this afternoon!
