I'm having a hard enough time trying to convince myself to get up off my ar$e and go find some socks... COLD!

    Good luck with them guys.

Any adults should be pretty safe coming out of a pound - parvo is always about. It's pups that pick it up easily. But do make sure you keep them locked up for a few days just in case.

My rescue pup's sibling was pts for 'parvo' in a pound. He just had one runny poo... and the two brothers have been fine. So take it with a grain of salt sometimes when a pound cries parvo.

Yeh but I do not know if she can risk it. I have just called her and her boyfriend got her a pup for her birthday, she has had a C7 but I wouldnt risk it if I were her, been there, done that, not looking for a repeat. But she did say that if I can find out more she will think about it because she really wants to help her and she an isolate them... so I dunno, will have to find out how serious this pavo thing is. to DOL.

EDIT: scrap that DOL will not log in, I do not know why.
Chop can you tell me anything else about the pavo thing or anything else about how to get this girl out?

Sorry for delay guys,am having a pretty bad day and only just dragged myself out of bed.

Ash a person who took a youngen out of Blacktown earlier this week put up a post to confirm it .

As Nat said,it does usually affect the bubs but do make her aware that its no gaurantee and if she has a young dog at home then I wouldn't suggest it without quarantine first.

Yeh I know. That is what I told her. I gave her the details and she will call them to find out what she is doing.

Mianco ( bless her-thankyou so much) has gone in today for us and sad to say this girl;02317 Female white, black spots 1/2yrs staffordshire cross short PAR Wed 31/Mar/2010
Kennel 71 is quite less than welcoming
Now it could well be that the poor girl is terrified but from what I heard over the phone this girl meant business. She would be an extremely experienced Bull breed home only.

Ash the white Bully girl appears to be a miniture as well.

yep, I would not trust hr at all, as soon as you walk up to the gage she starts snarling, when my friend walked up to the cage she lunged and barked!! Thank god for cages!! Whike she snarles she just glares at you. The bully girl was nice looking, very small girl and she seemed friendly
In regards to parvo, there was one cage we looked in (we browsed them all) and there was alot of vomit, so I think its very possible about parvo. As both of us have dogs, my friend then told her kids not to pat the dogs anymore and we thoroughly washed our hands when we got home!!
Renee if you ever need that sort of help again just buzz, Im more then happy to help. How did you get on with the pitt x that we were talking bout??

Thanks so much for doing all that Yvonne! You're just fantastic

    Good idea about hands etc....
The yard with the vomit ( ) Was it a young or mature dog? Was theer just the one in there ?

Have been trying to organise a volantary NOI for that Pit x. If we can get a BA and TT done and he passes both then at least she's free to live life as a normal dog and any new owners wont get a rude introduction to BSL.
The lady was saying what a nice dog it was

Have left name against that black boofa as well
