    Default Hawkesbury Shelter NSW

    Hey all,

There are a number of great souls in need @ Hawkesbury this week.

Sorry....not able to list each dog here with a seperate thread, so am posting a link (hope it works) If the link is against forum rules please delete.

I will check back as often as I can, though it is best to touch base with staff in regard to these dogs. Hawkesbury Pound NSW 45604643 or 45604644.

    PCC 343. Basil 2yo Male Foxie/JRT. Due 3/04
This fellow is another who is struggling in the pound environment. He eventually came to me for a pat & scratch though prefered not to be handled. I did notice him spining in his pen chasing his tail...
Another I will spend time with this week

What a stunning little man!! I am not normaly one to be drawn by the littlies but this fella got me.
Billy can we find out a little more on this boy please, in particular with other dogs.

    Same

I am always astounded at how easily poor dog owners get rid of dogs.

    Hi Choppa,

I am hoping to spend some more time with this bug during the week.Tuesday at best.

At this stage there is no pts Tuesday AM due to lack of staff, Wednesday is another possibility though.

My heart dog was a scardy cat Foxie, he is a new fellow now to say the very least & takes all of the fosters here under his wing. Not to mention being spoilt rotten.....

He is known as Uncle Billy & also visits the pound with me to temp test if I am not able to find any suitable smalls to test with.

Hours have been limited at the pound during the Easter break sadly & things have been hectic here as well.

I may not be able to update here so please check out DOL if you are able to.

    Many thanks Billy!

And also for telling me about Uncle Billy

Yes,things havn't beeen all that relaxed up this way either but I do hope you and the pooches had a lovely Easter.

Shall keep an eye on DOL but would prefer to either contact by email or through here if you're able.
If you do manage to get in there could you possibly spend a quick minute with the little Boxer cross girl ? I'd have to do some major juggling work but her photo gets me everytime.

    Thanks again

    Jodie is desperate.

She is your typical goofball (I love them) as she has no basic training & was a little distracted in the run.

She is in poor condition, though has a gentle mouth which is impressive for an underweight dog.

I had fun with her, she is responsive to correction though will need an experienced owner until she grabs basic training. She will need great nutrition.

She is a pretty girl & has potential in good hands.
