Oh Sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear this. You've a very good person with the love of the dogs paramount in everything you do. It's a bloody damn shame it's come to this. Any chance of things getting sorted out ??

sorry to hear that, I know how you feel, as soon I had my first dog here the ''crap'' started... I try to ignore it, but people can be so nasty.... It's the reason I really don't like people very much.... Dogs are much nicer....

Rescue is a bitchy business - anything doggy is. That's why I prefer my dogs to most people

    Oh this is horrible
Im sure you've thought this through thoroughly, but is it worth it?
I mean, there was a reason you started rescue, is it worth giving up over a few bitchy people?
Do you feel comfortable explaining what exactly is going on?

IMO Amanda has enough on her plate without explaining the ins and outs of this to us. I've spoken to her today and she was resolute about helping the dogs she has in care. She has other things in the pipeline but give her some time to mull this over as it has been quite a sudden change and shock.

Just remember Amanda - there are good rescue people out there and we will continue to support you.

I'm so sorry to hear of this.

If you want anything, I know I'm new and don't know anybody much but please, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you to all of you for your kind words. As many of you have suggested I will take a short break and reassess what I will do next. Need a bit of time to rehome the scragglers and wind up SPR Inc. I am not going anywhere, I will be right here on the forum catching up on everything and everyone else.

Good news is that I have good prospects for 8 of the 25 I currently have in care so should be able to come up for air before I know it.

Once again, thank you for your support, I really didn't expect such fan fare and respect, but really grateful to have received this just when I needed it!
