Apart from the KC it's all good! Not surprised he's put on 2kgs, I wish I knew exactly how much he weighed when he first came here, let alone how much he weighed when he first went to the pound.

Eddie will be a different dog in a couple of months time, at least to look at, we don't want his sweet nature to change (apart from the humping lol).

    Sumo and Eddie are TWINS!

What cough mixture can I give him that is safe for dogs?

    Dorte...

Floyd has had KC & vet recommend kids benadryl cough syryp.. 5 mls morning & night for a few days & 1 adult buscopan tablet morning & night to help with tummy spasms & pain from the coughing ( that's if he has tummy spasms & tummy pain etc).

Big hugs to Eddie & you & congrats on the weight gain, Eddie sounds like he's settling in nicely, he sure is a lucky boy to have you as well as a patient Sumo, i'm sure the both boys will sort out the hierarchy issue in no time....

Dorte..... if the coughing tends to get worse at night, you can also use a steamer mask on Eddie if he lets you or try to steam him up by running a hot shower, steam is excellent at loosening up phlegm of the chest & i used to steam up Floyd & it worked a treat, so did my fingers down he's throat when he was gagging/ chocking on the phlegm.

Poor Eddie, hope his tummy is better now!
Great that he has gained weight.
Excent that Ruby is running around with Eddie and wanting to play!
Is he still wanting to hump everything?

Wow Clea, Eddie looks soooo good! I love the pics! And the weight gain is amazing! Lets hope the KC and chest infection clears up quickly (without any more digestive problems) and your other two are not affected by it to much. On the side (because the chest infection reminded me of it again), when we adopted Ziggy she had an infection in her upper respiratory system... She sneezed a lot and every time she sneezed, well, her snotter was just flying everywhere... It was disgusting
Concerning the humping, from my experience there is not much that you can do. The water bottle might stop him doing it while you are around but it is unlikely to stop him from doing it when you are not around. I guess your boys and girls will have to sort that out for themselves... But so far it all sounds fantastic!! Big cuddles to all three of them

Thank you Clea, this is just what I need to make me smile.

Eddie looks wonderful, I can't believe how good his gorgeous face is looking - well, MORE gorgeous than it was!

It's a balm to my aching heart to see them all together.
