I dont know where to start!!

Francis is doing incredibly well and his little tail wag, wags all day long. He recognises his new name, is eating like a small horse and spending much of his day awake now Francis is now exploring the house and potters about getting his bearings, he is much more independant now which is great as i dont have to "hover' so much!

Francis' vision is markedly low though he is going from strength to strength and is a new boy now.

Yesterday i caught him chewing a skirting boardI said "Francis arg, arg, arg" in my 'scary' voice...he stopped and looked at me as if to say "oookay, i will go along with that"

Aside from co ordinating volunteers for the shelter, and working on the shelter project and DVD i have been busy clipping, bathing and exercising the poundies...they are all simply delightful and very patient with me while i clip. It can take hours to clip one dog, as they come in in such a state.

Despite me saying ok no more rescues until i get a handle on everything, on Wednesday night i got a call asking for help for a dear old soul in need of intensive care. Her elderly owner had died at home, and she sat with him alone for 7 days until they were found. She has recently had a malignent tumour removed and without care her wound had become infected and very nasty....How could i say no.

This sweet soul is breaking my heart and is grieving for her owner. I have cancelled all plans to stay with her today.
I have seen this before, and know with time she will recover from her loss.

There is more to Corrins story, hopefully i will be able to share that later.

If i get a chance I will post some pic's and know you will fall in love with her

I hope i can pop in from time to time to catch up, and wish you all great love, joy and peace.
