Smile Meet Tallulah - Greyhound Looking for a Forever Home

I picked up Tallulah today from Hawkesbury Pound, she was due to be pts this morning. Lovely girl that needs a bit of weight on her (she's about 25kgs atm), and will be desexed etc on Thursday. She's been a bit growly with the other dogs, but I think that's just settling in nerves.

I invited her in through the front door and she immediately jumped on to a sofa! Typical greyhound!

She's just over 4 years old.

She is very pretty GAG......ummmmm......have been keeping an eye on a greyhound down here too. Must be due in the next few days. Go to www.goodfordogs.com.au, enter Victoria and go to Mornington Pound. (You have to be Einstein to navigate through the council website). I will speak with the ranger tomorrow and see if she is going to GAP, or do you have any thoughts?

OMG Shar, you want me to go look at a pound website? I can't do it, I can't even go INTO the pound, only as far as the reception area, I get them to bring the dogs out to me! Yesterday and today I was howling my eyes out just listening to the dogs inside barking.

Hopefully GAP will take the Mornington grey, there is another one at HP too. Our kennels are chockablock, so officially full. More foster carers is what's needed!

Yeh the sound is a killer for me too, and I agree, more foster carers would be a godsend.

As far as the web sites are concerned, I find that if I squint and avoid looking at the pictures but look at the breed description instead it doesn't hurt as much

Awww she is gorgeous. I plan on getting a greyhound in the near future. I need to research the breed a bit more though.
