    Hi

Yes I know this little chook well, she was picked up as stray which is quite unusual. It was difficult to see her spend a full two weeks impounded, Greys in particular do not cope very well in the pound environment.

Gorgeous girl! I temp tested her twice & loved every moment I spent with her. She was reactive with the cats, her age was an initial indicator for this...though she was great with small dogs.

How is she settling in? I notice she was having a moment with the other dogs upon arival on your thread....

I am Nic.B on DOL and Poundlist on the urgent Hawkesbury thread.

Thank you for helping this sweetie

    Hi Cleasanta

Yes I have, lovely boy who came into the pound in poor condition. He has gained condition while at the pound.

No real basic training other than a sit. Eddie was very happy to be handled & was responsive to correction on lead.

He was food motivated, loved a game and is affectionate/people focussed.

Friendly while meeting others in their pens, though will need to learn some manners as all he wants to do is play, this may be over the top for some dogs who enjoy their personal space

I am so happy that Eddie is safe...I was concerned about him.

Thank you for helping him! I think he will settle in beautifully

I have 2 Staffies here...that'll teach him some manners

The introduction here will be done slowly though. First out walking on a lead with the other 2 and then he will have a "safe" place to be if he gets too much for my girl (she kinda likes her space every once in a while). My boy is a goofball and LOVES to play, so Eddie will have plenty of playtime

He will be signed up for obedience training along with my other 2.

    Fantastic

Careful intro's are crucial. I spend a minimum of 20 min's with the newbie on lead & introduce them in order. Occasionally they meet in a group...

I walk a lot (we are on acreage) & keep them all moving, throw the ball & keep things very low key & positive.

I am sure it will all go very well. Thank you for helping Rio
