Righty-ho, off to sort out the kennel runs, the skies are looking dark and if it rains I can't do the grass! And my Cindy is starting to get jittery so I know there is a storm around somewhere so she's about to get locked in the bedroom. Will sort out bedding, bowls etc too. The mice will get a shock!

    I will be back later....

Phew! I'm knackered now, 20 minutes of whippersnipping in 30 degrees is soooo much fun! It looks a bit rough, but my wrists told me they'd had enough. Beds have been made, water bowls cleaned ready for fresh tomorrow, and mice poo has been swept up. There WAS a wicker basket in one of the kennels, it's now in a pile which I will bag up when I go feed Sam later. Hmmm, methinks Roger the Dodger had a nice time with it last time he was down there. Haven't used the kennels for about a month!

Rio won't be able to dig out as the mesh is concreted in, he'll have to jump 6' cyclone fencing if he wants out....or climb it!

I'd better sort out some toys or something, and throw a few collars and harnesses in the car.

I'm really excited about Rio's stay, and having the chance to get to know him. I agree with you Clea, he DOES deserve a chance, sadly I think no-one was interested because of how he looks, the bald patches and his skinny condition would turn people off. I hate to think how bad he looked when he came in a week ago, someone turned up when we were in the car park and said wow he's put on weight! He seemed to like the lady's little girl too which is a good sign.

I feel like a kid on christmas eve!
