    Default Henry's Hope Arrives Today!!!!

This afternoon, Henry's half sister Hope will join the gang at Green acres!

Hope is an 9 month old blue bear coat Shar Pei whose original Mama has become very sick and returned Hope (was lollie) to her breeder.

Also today we have two more additions to our (not so) little family.....2 x alpacas lol, I can hardly believe that this city slicker through and through is really lapping up this country life and all its glory.

Leading a very EXCITING time of it all atm

lol, just call me Eva Gabor....its hysterical! I was the proverbial professional jetsetting around the world, and now I am as happy as can be with my 5 acres and farm life. Haven't been here a week as yet but can't imagine ever moving back to the big smoke lol

If you get sheep and they have lambs the alpacas will keep the foxes away. Alpacas hates them and if they can catch one they will kill it

How exciting! I'm looking forward to seeing photos of Hope.

I always wanted an Alpaca called "Kerry" - but maybe that's just my lame sense of humour!

Most sheep people here have alpacas in with them, I love watching them when I drive by. I have actually seen an alpaca herding sheep into a corner, guarding while the other one ran off a dog. Was the farmer's dog just in there fora walk, got out real fast, lol.

careful with dogs and alpacas!! my OH grand parents have two and they killed to dogs who were in the paddock with the sheep..Its true they dont like foxes, but i dont think they really care if its a fox or a dog!
