    A pessimist sees the glass as half empty;
    An optimist sees the glass as half full;
    A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.

    I've just had a very unpleasant (IMO) conversation with a rescuer. Gosh, hope they're not all like that. Good grief.

    I think some rescuers need to get their head out of their ass to be honest and realise some people actually know a lot of stuff regarding dogs and they are not Gods gift to the Canis Lupus Familiaris. I think some rescuers forget to listen and are too busy listening to their own voice!

    I only have one experience to go on, Cleas, and that expereince has me agreeing with you.

    Come to think of it, I rescued Simba (cat). The RSPCA were lovely. Asked questions, sat and chatted and I got a Christmas card too. Nice.

    Arrgh yes, those Gods gifts to all dogs - I know a few of them. They're fun to be around!! **Insert the sarcasm**.

    I'm sorry you had a rough time with a rescuer DA, I hope this has nothing to do with George.

    Thanks for that Anne. It hasn't been a nice experience. My husband just got home before going off to the joinery and I've just relayed it all to him. He's smirking, and shaking his head. That about sums it up. He's also doing the finger in circles near his temple.

    Hopefully someone who can relate well with this rescuer will take on George in the future.
    The idiot owner was going to have him euthanised. God, if only ppl realised how their actions destroy dogs.

    I saw the point you were making and agree with it totally.

    There are some fantastic rescuers out there but unfortunately there are some
    who forget that their actions and comments can have a negative affect on how the general public view rescues and rescue dogs as a whole.
