Ridgie Lover Brembo is a splitting image of Asher. Wow, he is gorgeous. Can I ask what the other dog is? The light brown one has gorgeous floppy ears and a gentle looking face. What is his name, I can't work out what that first letter is

Oh my what a lovely looking boy Asher is.
I think the dog you're referring to is a rhodesian ridgeback. One of my favourite breeds.

Thanks Emma and Asher, Sierra is my 2 year old purebred Rhodesian ridgeback. She is huge now ( she was 5 months old in that picture). She still hasn't stopped growing and is about 45kg now whilst poor Brembo is about 33kg at 3 years old.

Our first trial week is up with Asher but I haven't even thought about it. Its no trial, he is not going back. Could ask for a better dog. Asher is settling in very well. Always wants to be with us, loves his walks. He isn't keen on the car. Everytime I pick up my keys he pricks his ears and looks at me but yesterday when I tried to take him for a ride to pick up the kids, he followed me out to the car but when I opened the door he ran back to the front door. I didn't push the issue as it was probably too hot anyway but will have to teach him that car rides aren't always heading to the vet or pound...lol....I took him to the local sports fields on Monday for a romp, but it was too hot for that. He wasn't interested so we sat under a tree for a little while and then went home.

He is officially ours now. Bought him a collar with his name and my mobile number embroidered on it, plus his tags, and have fixed up change of ownership with the council.

Laying in the sun to warm up after a bath...

He doesn't like baths. I know most dogs don't, but Asher plants his butt and will let me drag him before he will come voluntarily. I had to carry him over to the hose. Cold water isn't the best bath for them, but it was a nice hot day. Afterwards he had a sudden hyper attack and tore round the yard, rolling about, jump up, take off again.

Aww he looks so happy in the photos!

Can I ask where you got the collar from and how much it was? I've been thinking about getting something like that for the gang, their tags seem to come off all to often, especially if they have been playing.

Hey I wish I could take credit for the collar. No I didn't make it. I bought it from this website here, cost me $34 including postage.
