Forgive my ignorance, is a Belguin the same dog as an Alatonian Shep?

    Hi Occy,
Have you actually seen her and interacted with her? Only wanted to know as to get a general idea of temperament and such.

I have been trying to call a friend of mine who has a male alatonion pup, she is on the phone atm but sent her the link to this thread to see if she is interested.

Edit to add that I am flying yet another pei on Tuesday/Wednesday Sydney-Melbourne so if anyone is interested in the female shep, her flight would be cheap if I booked her the same time as my flight and under my rescue flight rates if that helps...

    Ok

I have not had contact with dog nor owner - I was contacted by senior dog rescue. They would be the ones to speak to.

An anatolian is a completely different dog - would be like comparing a collie rough with a border collie.

Belgians come in 4 varieties - no idea what this girl is - I suspect she is a Gren., which is the long haired black version as generally they are the ones ppl call belgians.

I wouldn't fly a 14 year old dog myself. I can arrange transport Wodonga to Melbs if needed.

If someone can take this poor old girl on, I can help with temp accommodation until transport is arranged if that helps.
