He seems very people friendly.....Looks like he wants to eat my cat though ( I wont test that out I dont think)
The poor lil bugger keeps looking at me like "help me" He aslo has some gunk in his eyes, They are fairly open but not very clear by the looks of it,I wipped some of it out, When I was sitting out there.

My biggest concern is that the Goanna's will want to hurt him, As we have quite a few around here, and they are out in number's so Im assuming its close to breeding season, Im not sure how dogs and lizards mix , But Id imagen it wouldnt be a pretty picture.

My hasband is working all weekend, and during the week too, So there isnt really a way to get him to brissy my end.

And Choppachop. Its like 5 hours to where I am.

I have to go to a family gathering tonight. SharPeiRescueVictoria...But in the morning should be ok.
Just not after 5pm as Im running around like chook with its head cutt off at this time, With my friends children, Then once my husband is home, He is never in a good mood, so it just cause more firction etc.

But I will send an email to you with my details

My advice is try everywhere you can to get this boy some help. He is the top priority here, just keep anyone else offering assistance in the loop as to what is happening.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

Are you in Hervey Bay near Maryborough?

I have someone that might be able to help you get the dog to Brisbane. (I'm from there, you see.)

Hi, You didn't give me your phone number in the email, I need to speak with you to help you! Yes, if you think he may eat your cat its likely he would....some have very prey drive.

Devils Advocate, if you can get him to Brissie, then I can either fly him down here or see if I can organise some care for him up there, but I need him in Brissie to get the ball rolling

Do you actually have the dog in your possession?

Have you yet asked around or placed a free ad in the found section of The Chronicle or Observer?

I realise that the dog does not appear to be in very good condition from your description, but what concerns me is that this could be a dog who was lost some time ago, and somewhere is an owner possibly still looking for it?
Have you tried ringing the vet surgeries in Tinana, Walker Steet, Guava St and any now functioning in the Bay? They may know of a missing Shar Pei, and be able to help you instantly.

    Hey Shar Pei,

It would be good if they could at least get the dog to a local vet to ascertain if the dog is microchipped?

It won't be allowed on the plane at the airport in that condition, so would have to be driven. Crate???

OK, I have sent your phone number through to Steph and Jen either one of these ladies will call you and organise a plan. Poor baby, I really feel for him, but Jen is in QLD and Steph in NSW so they are both closer than I am to be able to help you. Thinking of you!!!!
