Default Foster Carer's Desparately Needed in Melbourne

OK, dumping season officially starts at the beginning of December. Unfortunately I am already TOTALLY overrun. If anyone would consider fostering for me for anything from 3 weeks to (honestly over the festive season -up to 3 months) PLEASE contact me!!! We only place boys with girls and visa versa. If you have heaps of doggy experience- great we can find you a more "challenging" case if you are comfortable with a good walker to give love and attention to, we can find you one of those as well.

All pei that we take into care are neither dog aggressive nor human aggressive.

I pay all vet costs (at our rescue vet)
    supply all dry food
    supply all collars
all dogs are micro chipped to me (so your council won't be alarmed)
am always at the end of the phone
and screen all potential adoptive parents so you would only meet the final 3 (if you would like to have a say)!

Please if you have ever considered fostering, now is the time

Thanks Jodz, I have never know anything like this, it is absolutely insane. Every time I turn around I get another phone call or email about lovely dogs looking down the barrel of well, you know what. However, I will not give up on these poor dogs and I just know that there will be support out there if we look in the right place

I'd offer, but we already have our guys, and I'm sure your rescues wouldn't love being bombarded by them lol!

Don't suppose you have any friends, family neighbours who would consider?

Bummer, we have now reached the point where we are unable to help the cross breeds, too many pure breds and not enough space available wth the carers we currently have in place. It's just too sad especially when you consider dumping season officially starts on Wednesday. Holding out for a miracle......

    That is sad.

Are you advertising for carers on other sites, including PetRescue?? What about DOL? Maybe see if you can get support in the local newspapers and radio??

A realist just finishes the damn thing and refills it.

I have an ad on Pet Rescue, DOL has put me in touch with a couple of really good people. Good idea about the media. I will investigate that one this week, thanks Anne
