Inka seems to be improving YAY!!! I still have her quarentined of course, but she is eating and taking her meds for me. Today she saw me coming and started wagging her tail aaaaaaawwwwwwwww. She then even took a few steps toward me. She is a really lovely little doll. I can't wait to get her to Tyabb next week.....if I take her. Will depend how she is feeling as if she is seems well, I think I may foster her out to her potential forever parents who recently adopted Lockie. This way, Jen can be the one to take her to the vet for desex and also be the one to pick her up, all part of the bonding process.

And Koda leaves tomorrow for his forever home with Mel, Deb & Cleo. Very excited about this match as it is another perfect fit. I do so love happy endings!

I also expect Cooper to leave by the end of the week. Stay tuned on this one!

Koda has left the building!!! He was looking especially sexy today when he left in his new royal blue glow in the dark Rodz collar and matching lead lol

So we had a run on male orphans leading up to Xmas, and now the girls are coming in.

8 month old China brown (Macy) is being surrendered on Saturday.

And an enquiry this evening from a lady wanting to surrender a 2 yr old who she has had for only 3 weeks. She already has a female pei and the girls aren't getting along - could be literally fatal if we don't help her. She has tried her best, but you need enormous experience with the breed to keep two of the same sex.

Inka was barking about 10 mins ago lol, how exciting is this?!?!?! She will be just fine now, dear little cherub that she is

Inka is so sweet! I actually saw a white Shar Pei walking down my street today - they must have just moved in as I had never seen it before. Might end up being a new doggy friend!

ooooh how lovely for you cate0404. You don't see too many whites around. Henrys mother Misty is a white, but she is getting on in age and looks a bit ragged now, poor old chook.

I am off to accept Macy this afternoon. 8mths old and kept in the back yard for her life. Her owners are not bogans, just people uneducated about pei who were sold a cute rolly pup at the pet shop and who now have an out of control fully grown pei. So once again we pick up the pieces and find her a more suitable home where thay have time for a beautiful China Brown girl (NOOOOOOOO Pei pod, she is not jet setting to Sydney) lol. Macy is being surrendered to me at Wellington Park Kennel where she will do 3 weeks with Sharna the wonder trainer. We LOVE Sharna !!!............and we love Netty for introducing us to Sharna.....THANK YOU Netty!!!!

Shar, I keep meaning to ask you (sorry if you've explained elsewhere) but what is the doggy boot camp you send the furries off to? Is that the Kennels you mentioned above? What is involved in the boot camp, I'm interested because some of the rescues we get could use something like that. I met our latest arrivals yesterday, a couple were really sweet and quiet, but a couple of others were fairly full on - still lovely though!
