Thankyou for your kind words cate0404, but 3 things.....I don't do anything that so many of you in my position wouldn't do. The second is just take a look at these BEAUTIFUL little faces!! And finally in times of personal crisis, it is the very distraction of the work that keeps me going forward to make it to the next day, otherwise I would fall into a crumbling heap.

Bottom line is just because the bottom has fallen out of my world doesn't stop the orphaned dogs from needing our help. So you keep on keeping on, just like the battery lol.

We packed our cut lunch and headed to Morwell this morning to pick up Declan the delightful!

He is WONDERFUL!!! Blowing a puppy coat, so I would say 8, 9 or 10 months old. Fawn puppy, probably a red adult horse coat with a black mask.

Skinny (18.9kg - should comfortably put on 4-5 kg). Walks well on the lead and.......are you waiting for it........had his chin on my shoulder for most of the drive back to Melbourne aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Left him at the vet for tomorrows desex and + or- entropion (has HEAPS of facial wrinkles, so suspect his eyes will need attending to).

Sorry DGP, forgot my camera so unless I can work out how to download pics off my phone, you will have to wait for a visual!!

Thanks, was a shock, especially given I haven't as yet received "the" call from Julie, Peipod actually rang and told me it was on line in writing, lol! After saying that, I am most certainly humbled by the respect of my peers and the honour of it all.

Boo on the no pics. He sounds lovely though.

Do you mean that 18.9 kg is too light for that age or too light for a male? Yuna is about 17kg, but I guess she is kinda small as well.
